Lunch break at Eunice Lake. No pictures of the lake as it was lost in the fog.
Nearing the top of Tolmie Peak. Turns out those clouds were burning on rather than off.
Though the huge dramatic views of Mt Rainier (and also Baker, St Helens, and Adams) were invisible, the small-scale scenery was awesome.
These guys were about 3' tall and really cool.
The tree-line wildflowers and stunted trees looked like tiny bonsai gardens.
Even though we couldn't see too far, we could definitely see how steep the trail was. And it was plenty steep.
Couldn't decide if I liked this is color or B&W better.
