Latest in an ongoing series of me and Lars taking each other's pictures.
Watching the tugboat races on a (sorta) sunny Saturday afternoon.
Dinky tugs in race 1
The boat pointed to the right is going backwards at maybe 15 knots to stay even with the race, and the boat on the left zipped out of his way just in time. Planned?
The little tug that could. Rather, "couldn't" as it came in DFL by a large margin and seemed about to get swamped. Did stay afloat and finish, though, and probably before the beer ran out, so that's something.
Aerodynamics don't play at 10 knots - I love the tent on the back. Passenger weight seems not to matter either!
This has got to be military, over from Bremerton or Bangor?
Aye captain, I can see the boats finishing the race ahead of us... "Chief" had the style points nailed, though.
